The man behind the success of Giovanni’s Pizza in Santa Barbara is Danny Babai. Danny began the business during his first attempt at retirement. His background was in the food and restaurant industry working with Host International and managing Charlie Brown’s. He then owned and operated his own coffee shop style restaurant called Tiffany’s located in Riverside, CA. His first foray into the pizza business was when he bought a failing pizza place in Southern California and turned it around with new recipes and personal attention to quality and customer service.
