From 1961 to 1980, MOM’S simply served great pizza made from a special family recipe in our otherwise traditional take-out pizza stores in the Philadelphia area. During this time, Nick often took home fresh pizza piled high with fresh toppings to his growing family. They would bake it in their own kitchen and enjoy it hot and fresh. In 1981, Mom’s founders thought maybe our discerning customers would enjoy pizza that was fresh and hot when they were ready and the bake at home revolution was born!
