A former Taekwondo and Judo Team Leader and graduate of Hanyang Univerity, Korea, with a BA in Physical Education, Grandmaster Mountain Kim, has many accomplishments to include: 8th Degree Taekwondo; Chun Buk Korean State Champion Taekwondo 1964 and 1965; Korean National Champion taekwondo 1968 (twice) and 1969; World Medalist Judo; 8th Degree Judo; Master Hapkido; Former President US East Coast Haidong Gumdo Association (1999-2007); and Former Vice President Virginia State Taekwondo Union; Vice President Korean World Judo Federation (1999 - Present)
