1905 - the Estacada Telephone & Telegraph Company was founded to provide the latest in high technology communications - basic telephone service - to the good folks of eastern Clackamas County Oregon.

1924 - Estacada Tel was bought by the Smith / Day family that operates it today.

1969 - the Day family launched their wireless version of local communications with the start of Clackamas Communications, a Motorola radio service station.

1971 – Estacada Tel becomes Cascade Utilities – a better recognition of the wider range of communications services offered which today includes telephone, cable and ISP services in Oregon and Nevada.

1998 - the radio company name becomes Day Wireless Systems.
