Alfa Restaurant & Bar opened in April of 2006 and is the creation of long time friends Joe Beckham a.. read morend Giancarlo DiPasquale. After opening the acclaimed Walnut Room on the second floor a year before, Beckham and DiPasquale decided to try their hands at an upscale pub, and Alfa was born. Conceived as a Modern American Gastropub, Alfa is an sanctuary for revelers, diners, and a host of Rittenhouse miscreants. In August of '08 Chef Sean Ford joined on as Executive Chef. Chef Ford brings a fresh and simple style to Alfa's youthful and energetic atmosphere. From happy hour through our late night dining, Alfa is a required stop off on any evening in Rittenhouse.
