The staff is very friendly. They are willing to help and make your stay a pleasant one. I met the owner and she is lovely as well. While you are staying, you have to try the restaurant.

Start with the Artichoke soup - silky and flavorful; end with the Meyer lemon tart from their new pastry chef. Both surprising and excellent! In between you won't go wrong with any of the starters and entrees. Peculiar corkage policy, but good wine list that ends with a Pride Mountain Vineyards Mist....

Food is good, but nothing spectacular. At least the dish I had wasn't something to remember for days, but there were some that were. The service was exceptional to the very end, very attentive considering it was one person for about a handful of tables. I can see why they have a michelin star.
