  International contemporary ensemble performs new music at atlas performing arts center. highli.. read moreghts of the program include nathan davis' "h street bells," a site-specific piece that uses audience members' cellular phones to transmit processed sound from live instruments. ice performed the premiere of "bells" in 2011 at lincoln center, and the work is updated for the new location. the concert also features music by john cage, steve reich, mario diaz de leon and phyllis chen. founded in 2001, ice has premiered over 500 compositions in venues ranging from lincoln center and chicago's museum of contemporary art to galleries, bars, clubs, and schools around the world.
