    Now more than 20 years into their career, roots rockers Donna the Buffalo -- hot on the heels .. read moreof the release of their 10th studio album, Tonight, Tomorrow and Yesterday -- remain key players in the Americana/bluegrass/roots scene. The band is co-fronted by genre luminaries Tara Nevins and Jeb Puryear, who both play a wide variety of instruments (from fiddle and accordion to pedal steel and washboard), sing and write the bulk of DTB's songs. They're backed by a trio on drums, keyboard/organ and bass, who help craft the band's signature mix of soulful, electric Americana infused with elements of cajun, zydeco, rock, folk, reggae and country. Check out these feel-good, danceable groovers and become one of "The Herd" (which is how their fans are affectionately known). Adam Levy, an accomplished jazz guitarist and singer-songwriter, will perform an opening set.

City Winery has a great space. It's huge and loft style in decor. However, this review is solely on wine as we didn't have food. The wine options were nice, along with the waitstaff. It was nice place to grab a table, chat with friends, and drink wine. However, I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 ....

We went to City Winery for a concert and dinner. We arrived early and ate in the concert space pre show. The entire experience was amazing - Great food, wine and service. I have heard their praises sung on WXRT continuously and City Winery exceeded my expectations. Experience it for yourself.
