I'd been meaning to make my way South to visit Ed's Coral Castle for some time, though I'll admit that the drive often kept me from doing so. The decision...

Friday I finally went to Coral Castle after living in Miami for two years. I felt regretful that I did not visit this delightful place earlier. This is...

The castle, 25 miles south of Miami, remains one of America's unexplainable architectural marvels. No one's really sure how one man carved more than 1,000 tons of limestone using only homemade tools.

South Florida at its weirdest! Head to The Coral Castle and try to figure out how one man moved all these blocks of coral (weighing several tons each!) all by himself. It's an amazing day trip. -WV

The staff is very friendly and the excur....

Loved it after spending long periods reading and researching the Rock Gate Castle, aka Coral Castle which it was renamed after new ownership. Quite a landmark when a 100lb man moved all these stones by himself while modern day machines cant seem to lift this amount of weight.
