HISTORY
The theatre opened on December 25, 1929, just two months after the stock market crash. The Fox hosted the premiere of Walt Disney's Song of the South in 1946. Disney himself introduced the picture.

In 1974, Mayor Marynard Jackson (OC resident) refused to sign the paperwork needed to demolish the Fox and on July 10th of that year held the first "Save the Fox" meeting at Herren's restaurant.

One of the best venues in Atlanta! Ranges in a variety of genres from the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" to Ellie Goulding you won't be disappointed! Makes for a great date night or place to take family and friends when they are visiting from out of town.

One of the coolest venues in the south, the Fox should be on any and every music lover's bucket list. Absolutely beautiful inside and out, make sure you get a seat on the floor in front, or the balcony front for best views. Once you get under the canopy on the floor, your views are obstructed.
