(fan appreciation day) The Scouting Report The RailCats seem to be getting hot at the right time. With just over a month left in the American Association's regular season, the Cats have built a solid lead in the Central Division thanks in large part to what they've done in July. This month, the team won 15 of its first 20 games, widening the gap between its first-place spot and the second-place Lincoln Saltdogs. Outfielder Drew Martinez has played a major role in that success. Through 63 games, he leads the league in batting average and only struck out 23 times in nearly 300 plate appearances, putting more baseballs in play than an out-of-control pitching machine.

This place rocks! Personally, I find that Section 112 is the best. Great view!

Well to say the least my wife was treated rudely by a Gary Officer. Due to dietary issues there is nothing they serve she can eat & they wouldn't let her bring her food in. This sucks!

It's a beautiful stadium and fairly cheep entertainment for the family. The parking lots are patrolled and it is safe. It's a great place to introduce your kids to baseball.
