In Wild Grass , Wang takes inspiration from the poems of Chinese literary titan Lu Xun. A three-part performance rooted in ideas of spirituality and individuality, this intricate medley of masterful imagery -- Dead Fire , Farewell of the Shadow and Dance of Extremity -- is anything but ordinary.

The recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, Barnatan was just named the New York Philharmonic's first Artist in Association and is set to perform multiple times with that orchestra over the next few seasons. This theater will make you want to love art. They always put on the best shows and have top quality performances. I recently went to Hubbard Street Spring Series and was blown away. They have Houston Ballet and Paul Taylor coming later in the season. Just a beautiful space to see dance and I recomme....
