Pite's A Picture of You Falling is a solo excerpt from her full-length The You Show and features an electronic score from Owen Belton. Kyli. n's Sarabande is a "black and white" piece for six men set to Bach, performed in contrast with his Falling Angels , a dance for eight women scored with Steve Reich's minimalist Drumming. The concert concludes with resident choreographer Cerrudo's female duet Cloudless .

    With Restless Creature , former New York City Ballet dancer Wendy Whelan embarks on a new adv.. read moreenture with four of today's leading choreographers. Whelan has a repertoire of more than 50 ballets and was named "America's greatest contemporary ballerina" by The New York Times. She's revived Restless Creature -- which received its world premiere in August 2013 -- and customized it specifically for this event. "I actually had the Harris Theater in mind while I was developing my project," Whelan's explained. For this evening of four duets, she'll be joined by her collaborators, Kyle Abraham, Joshua Beamish, Brian Brooks, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo.

This theater will make you want to love art. They always put on the best shows and have top quality performances. I recently went to Hubbard Street Spring Series and was blown away. They have Houston Ballet and Paul Taylor coming later in the season. Just a beautiful space to see dance and I recomme....
