With just the shirts off their backs, they manage to construct an incredibly warm and cozy environment by hammering their fun spirit into every element of the bar; from the wood-burning fireplace to the vivid pictures on the walls.

When the KEYBAR opened its doors in October 2002, it quickly became a local favorite. In the next couple of years, the KEYBAR continued to establish a strong presence in not only the East Village, but all five boroughs by winning several “Best of New York” awards on Citysearch and receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews on Yelp!, Zagat and many other online city guides.

The KEYBAR is the home of the famous Rolo shot and many other delicious award-winning cocktails, martinis and shots created by owner/mixologist Attila whose inspiration was to satisfy the most demanding palates.
