Yes it is expensive! But with the Groupon it wasn't so bad for 2 tickets. 10$ a beer does stink but the free shows are all worth your while. Great experience. This was my first time and definitely wont be my last!

While King Richard's Faire gains the benefit of having a full-time location in terms of having permanent buildings and practiced performers, it looses the enthusiasm and variety that make shorter "faires" more enjoyable. Probably the main attraction at King Richard's is the fire breather/sword swall....

I believe this is very much for children, but i wanted to come as a young adult and rekindle that childhood experience. I can say that i was more than disappointed mostly at the price. 30$ to get in was rough to start, Then having to buy food tickets?! which was also a good way to loose out on money....
