It's basically an Art Gallery. Compared to the Chicago Art Museum, it is night and day. You are much better off checking out Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, which is half the price and much bigger. Apparently, don't go the week the before Thanksgiving as they have a festival of trees....

The changing exhibits are always a treat. The Romance artists were especially amazing. Without even paying admission, one can enjoy inspiring student art and a guest exhibit off the lobby. The gift shop was more interesting when it carried more children's activities but it's still fun to wander thro....
