  Scout notes: to call prcheen a gastropub (one of atlantars first, by the way) would be doing .. read morethis old fourth ward fave a disservice. that would be skipping over the best highlights: international fare that spans multiple continents, an impressive rotation of some of atlantars best djs after the dinner hours are over, and, of course, the ljust trust usr which, as the name implies, puts the fate of your meal in the hands of these creative chefs. no order is ever the sameh but is always crazy-good. itrs no wonder p'cheen has become such a neighborhood destination any night of the week: itrs an unpretentious local pub with some not-so-average pub food. and cool people, too. which is, if you ask us, the best kind of combination that a restaurant could be. the upbeat pub vibe may be a big draw for letting one's figurative hair down (or one's tie loose, depending on your preference), but make no mistake: this ainrt no average bar grub. from thai wings to a chicken tikka platter to an ancho-rubbed pork shank, p'cheen takes the best of pub fare, dresses it up, and gives it an international passport. (though if you're overwhelmed by all the culinary goodness to be had on the menu, you can't go wrong in the hands of chefs alex and mike: the "just trust us" is never the same order twice, no matter the night of the week). prcheen has an exciting, rotating menu that makes any night of the week a lnot to missr kind of night; there's a friendly lineup of faces tending bar and working feverishly in the open kitchen; and a lively crowd of regulars that shift from diners to bar patrons to a later bunch who stick around for the dj spinning. i often find myself answering the age-old question of, lwhere should we go tonight?r with the go-to response of lwell, we could just go to prcheen... again.r which, for the most part, is always a successful decision. menu highlights: thai wings, $8 just trust us, $9 chorizo meatballs, $7 ancho-rubbed pork shank, $17 fish & chips, $12 angus portobello burger, $12 hours: dinner hours: tuesday to thursday, 6-10:30 p.m. friday, 6 p.m. - 12 a.m. saturday, 12 p.m. - 12 a.m. sunday, 12 p.m. - 10 p.m. bar hours: tuesday to friday, 6 p.m. - late saturday, 12 p.m. - late sunday, 12:30 p.m. - midnight
