Welcome to Peppino’s Grille, Pizzeria and Sports Lounge, located in the entertainment district of .. read moredowntown Grand Rapids. Our menu features generations old authentic Sicilian family recipes. In 1976, Carlo DiLeonardo opened the first Peppino’s take-out pizzeria in Standale. A second take-out pizzeria was opened in Allendale in 1980 to serve the growing population of students at Grand Valley State University. Expansion continued, and there are now eight Peppino’s take-out pizzerias in West Michigan. In 2005 Carlo DiLeonardo opened the first Peppino’s full service restaurant and sports lounge in Allendale to service the Grand Valley State University audience. With the restaurant’s popularity it was an easy decision to bring Peppino’s downtown. Carlo’s son, Joe DiLeonardo and partner Kurt Suidinski found the perfect downtown location in the century old former Grand Rapids Taxi Cab Company building. Affordable prices in a contemporary sports lounge atmosphere make Peppino’s Downtown the place to dine in, take out, and enjoy the game of the day!
