Here, large herds of African animals, such as springboks, water buffalos, and elands roam the sprawling grounds. Experienced tour guides narrate the journey, pointing out a variety of endangered species as well as giving guests the go-ahead to feed the not-so-shy animals that wander up to the truck. Back at the safari lodge, riders can head off to the petting zoo and aviary or recline under a shaded canopy while enjoying the ranch's views, which echo that of an African landscape. Tours run daily at 9 a. m., 11 a. m., 1 p. m., and 3 p. m.

This was an exciting adventure. Even though it rained we still had a good time. We rode the camels on the entire safari. What a neat experience and much more fun than we expected.
