Fell's point harbor has always been a source of refuge, but it offers so much more than just an overnight retreat for two. the relaxing admiral fell inn draws you to its doors to experience the unique history, character and modern comforts of a chic, european styled hotel situated in an exciting maritime village. you'll soon be privy to the many ways that admiral fell inn distinguishes itself from the rest with its smart style and clever character. the hotel's seven unique buildings date back to the 1770's and have seen fell's point through the centuries, having served as a ship chandlery, a theater, and a boarding house. you'll enter into a lobby of beautiful antiques and silk upholstery, just a hint of what to expect in your room upstairs. no two rooms are alike and each are named with a historical reference to reflect their distinct charm. outside your room, you'll be surrounded by views of tugboats, the lovely courtyard and shakespeare's street. take a leisurely walk or explore the charming neighborhood full of eclectic shops, restaurants, and taverns. stop in for a drink at "the horse you came in on" to see the site where edgar allen poe had his last drink. but be warned, with so much to see and experience, you just might want more time here. when you return at night, you might hear the muted sounds of jazz music coming from the basement bar. linger for a drink or head up to your room to call it a night. allow the beautifully appointed rooms and intrigue of a time and place lure you in. you'll be glad it did.
