• So local businesses create and post their own coupons on 8coupons.com, and we promote them through our website, other places online, as well as in your neighborhoods, etc. 
• They get more business, and you get great deals. 
• And everybody is happy!

How are the “Top 8 deals” determined?

• You determine who makes it to our Top 8 homepage
• The Top 8 deals are comprised of an algorithm based on coupon ratings as well and the coupon’s number of clicks, views, etc.  So simply put, it’s the most popular deals based on your feedback.

How do I use a coupon from 8coupons.com?

• There are two easy ways:

1. You can send the coupon to your cell phone (as a text message) and take it to the business and show your phone.  It’s that easy, just show the coupon in your phone to a cashier or waiter/waitress.  This is our paperless option, which we highly recommend.  Go Green!
2. Or, you can print the coupon(s)

What’s a mobile coupon?

• Mobile coupons are coupons that you can send directly to your cell phone and redeem it at the business like a traditional coupon by presenting the text message coupon on your phone to the cashier or waiter/waitress.

Are you going to SPAM my cell phone?

Never!  The “send to phone” mobile coupon feature is just that.  You must send the coupon to your phone yourself.  We do not automatically send you mobile coupons unless you’ve specifically asked us to.

Can you automatically send me mobile coupons from my favorite local places?

We will be adding this feature later on in our beta launch of 8coupons.  This feature will allow you to “opt-in” for automatic mobile coupons deals that get sent directly to your phone when you favorite local merchants post deals.  If you have a suggestion on how you’d like this to be done, let us know here!

How do I get and use the mobile coupon?

1. Click on the “send to phone” link next to the cell phone icon located on top of each coupon, input you cell phone number, choose your carrier, and click “I agree.”  Your mobile coupon should arrive on your phone within seconds
2. Take your phone to the business, and show the cashier or waiter/waitress the mobile coupon in your phone. Yes, he or she will know what to do!  (If not, please help us improve our services by reporting that business)

How can I print the coupons?

1. To print an individual coupon: click on the coupon, and hit the print button from the business profile page (on the bottom coupon “control” box)
2. To print multiple coupons, “clip” the coupon to save it to your coupon “basket.”  Then click on “my clipped coupons” to print your coupons.

How can I learn more about a business that is on 8coupons.com?

• When you click on a coupon, it takes you to the coupon “profile” page.  From there you can get more information about the business as well as a detailed description by clicking on the “more information” link.

How can I send a coupon to a friend?

• Click on the envelope icon and enter the e-mail address.  You can send to multiple e-mails at once, by separating the e-mail addresses with commas.

What if a business doesn’t accept my printed coupon or mobile coupon?

• Please help us improve our service by reporting this business to us by flagging the coupon in the coupon “profile” page when you click on a coupon. 

How can I flag a coupon or business?

• When you click on a coupon, it takes you to the coupon “profile” page.  From there, you will see a “flag” icon where you can report the coupon and/or business.  We really appreciate your help!
