Don, Lonnie, Jim and Charlie each started washing dishes in the family restaurant, Austin's Drive Inn of Evansville, Indiana and developed into managers. When their father died of a heart attack, Don was 22 and the youngest child was two years old. The brothers had to work together to run the restaurant and raise the children. They put in a state-of-the-art speaker system and were on the cutting edge of a drive-in restaurant. This was just the beginning of the Hunt Brothers cutting edge projects.
