Red Hanger opened for business on March 28, 1961. The first store was in Clearfield, Utah, close to Hill Air Force Base. Today, Red Hanger consists of 16 locations along the Wasatch Front and one state-of-the-art shirt laundry. Since the first day of business, Red Hanger has maintained two goals - quality and convenience. Red Hanger has invested in state-of-the-art equipment in each location to provide on-premise cleaning. This allows for fast turnaround time and no need to truck clothes to a central dry cleaning plant. In-car service was also established early on. All locations except the University and Millcreek stores offer in-car service to help speed customers on their way. Red Hanger has worked hard to be a leader in the dry cleaning industry. The reputation of quality and convenient service has been paramount for over 48 years and will continue to be so in the future.
