As the name implies, sandwiches is our specialty. We’ve created nine scrumptious sandwiches prepared on fresh baked daily breads, each served with a side salad of mixed greens and grape tomato. Generous portions of the finest ingredients and fresh produce are never spared, even when “Creating Your Own” salad or sandwiches!
Roast beef and goat cheese sprinkled with chopped sun-dried tomatoes and organic arugula are piled high on a crusty French batard then drizzled generously with house made spicy aioli. This Sandwicherie Flagship, nicknamed, The Mighty Angus, creates roast beef lovers out of just about anyone!
L.E.S. Sandwicherie boasts such sandwiches as the “Smoking' Salmon”: smoked salmon paired with prosciutto, brie and tomato on ciabatta with cucumber and capers. The Tuscan Tuna sandwich served on olive bread topped with canellini beans, olives, watercress and olive oil offers a mayonnaise free tuna alternative. The house, “Panino”, reinvents the salami sandwich combining basil and jalapeno jack cheese with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach pressed delicately between a hearty French Batard. With such “meaty” choices, L.ES. Sandwicherie, still seeks to please every palate. Although the menu seemingly boasts only mouth-watering meats such as roasted turkey, baked ham, chicken breast, roast beef, prosciutto, spicy capocolo, salami, salmon, and tuna, our most deeply respected vegetarians are certainly not to be forgotten!
Hearty, healthy vegetarian options include The Big Cheese, Mozza Lover and the Broome Shroom sandwiches. Fresh mozzarella and tomato on health conscious seven-grain bread is crowded with crisp vegetables and alfalfa sprouts and drenched with balsamic vinaigrette. Our “Big Cheese” with tomato and arugula redefines the grilled cheese sandwich as layers of cheddar provolone and Muenster ooze from the sides of crispy olive bread. And don’t forget the Broome Shroom! Grilled Portobello mushrooms stacked with roasted red peppers, carrots, sprouts and Muenster cheese will have vegetarians grinning with delight!
Although we specialize in sandwiches, salads are not to be missed! Four crisp and refreshing specialty salads, each served with a toasted baguette, are worthy adversaries of our most popular sandwiches. Our Watercress & Avocado Salad served with orange, red onions, walnuts and shaved Parmesan is tossed lightly in kalamanzi pomegranate dressing. It is second to none except perhaps the French Riviera salad, which contains just about everything in our refrigerator! Organic Baby Spinach Salad with Portobello mushrooms, the Tomato Mozzarella & Basil, and Arugula and Beets salads will surely tempt even the most serious sandwich eater!
