The Tubbs family opened the first ap<x>pletree center in 1998. Doug and Bridgett Tubbs felt that having their own child attend the center allowed them to continually monitor the curriculum and programs. This hands-on approach turned out to be highly advantageous and a definite plus in the eyes of parents. From then on, Doug and Bridgett decided any and all ap<x>pletree centers would be owner-operated. Now 15 strong, ap<x>pletree, the Tubbs family, and their philosophy has given rise to a family of centers.
