Boulevard Cleaners is a family owned and operated drycleaners business, with over 3 generations of experience. My grandfather Tony Campisi started this business over 60 years ago, with a little shop on King’s Highway in Brooklyn. The name of the business is JTJ cleaners and is still in operation now in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, by my father and uncle some 60 year later. When I decided to join in the family business, we opened a store in Tribeca, in lower Manhattan, called NY Finest Cleaners, which I managed for over 15 years. We were the drycleaners to the stars. Mariah Carey, Billy Crystal, Laurence Fishburne, Nathan Lane, Warner Wolf, JFK Junior, Steve Schirripa, was some of our clientele. In February, 2005 I purchased Boulevard Cleaners and Tailors. In the two years that I owned Boulevard cleaners, business has tripled. We have state of the art machinery, which was recently installed in November 2006. All garments are inspected before and after they are dry cleaned. All fine fabrics are hand pressed assuring the highest quality. All blouses and suits are stuffed with tissue paper, so they don’t wrinkle in your closets. Any special request for your garments, such as creases, no creases, and extra tissue paper would be our pleasure to serve you. We only use our solvents once providing the best quality for your clothes. Other cleaners will clean your clothes in dirty solvents that were used repeatedly to save money. At Boulevard Cleaners we cook down the solvents after every load which costs more in gas and waste removal but it ensures that the solvents are clear and clean with no wastes from the previous loads, because we care about your clothes and we do not want to cut corners. At Boulevard Cleaners we care for what you wear. If you are not completely satisfied with your clothes, Boulevard Cleaners will re-do your clothes free of charge.
