Co-founders Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers dreamed up the Cheddar’s concept long ago and the first restaurant opened in 1978 outside of Six Flags in Arlington, Texas. Since then, Cheddar’s has evolved into the perfect American restaurant with its focus on made-from-scratch food in an upscale dining atmosphere at an astonishing value.
Today there are over 60 Cheddar’s restaurants nationwide. Though the concept has a lot of room left to grow, its popularity spans the country.
