If you bought your wedding ring from Samuels, the legend said, you would be married for ever. Samuels Jewelers Market Street Clock Feb 15, 1915 - Albert Samuels, jeweler, installed a 20-foot-tall, 4-sided clock (Samuel's Clock) in front of his store, The House of Lucky Wedding Rings, near Market and 5th in honor of the opening of the Panama-Pacific Expo. In 1941 the store was moved across the street to 856 Market next to the Flood Building and the clock followed, where it still stands today.
