The bakery first opened its doors in the year 1914, when two brothers, who had travelled from Sicily to make a new home in San Francisco, settled into.. read more the famous North Beach area of the City. The bakery, named Victoria after the daughter of one of the brothers, was a place where authentic and traditional recipes reminiscent of Old World Sicily could be enjoyed, with flavors enhanced by the use of the bakery’s enormous brick oven. Today’s owners of Victoria Pastry feel it is vital to maintain the quality and charm that the customers have come to know through the generations.
