Soon it would spread throughout the Ohio Valley. Today, over fifty years and three generations later, the recipe is used, but now with the efficiency that only years of experience can offer. Many have tried to copy the recipe and even the process, but there is only one original, and the DiCarlo family still takes pride in every single slice that goes out their door. Over the years, new items have been added to the basic pizza menu: calzones, pepperoni rolls and subs. Each new item is held to the same strict standards of quality as the Original Pizza. These strict standards are rigorously employed by each franchisee so that the integrity of the DiCarlo name is upheld. In turn, the legacy of the DiCarlo name is an invaluable asset to any prospective business partner. Today Galdo's daughters run the family business. They are successfully taking the company into the future by honoring the traditions of the past. They still use the same secret family recipe that their father created.
