About
After having worked in NYC for over 20 years as a top wine salesman for one of the largest distributors in the country, Parker Kennedy not only became an expert on Italian cuisine and fine wines, but also became fluent in the language. In 1996 Parker Kennedy moved back to his hometown, Raleigh, with his wife, Nicole to pursue a life long dream ... open an Italian restaurant. Parker's dream came true on April 30, 1996 when Caffé Luna opened its doors. Twelve years later, Caffé Luna has grown from an 80 seat Trattoria to over 200 seats, three private party rooms and a terrace. Luna, (as it is called by regulars) is located in the historic Montague building and has expanded three times. In a typical week, Caffé Luna will host wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate functions and serve countless lunches and dinners for groups of two to twenty. And perhaps cater a wedding receptions at any of several off site locations.
