When Grandma Gladys and Grandpa Howard put down roots on a small, 120-acre farm west of Junction City in 1941, they set about raising a family and a dairy business that has since become a hometown tradition. Over the years, our family has faced many important decisions. One of the biggest was to open stores where we could sell our milk directly to families who live and work in the southern Willamette Valley. Grandpa Howard thought this approach made a lot of sense, and in 1965 Grandma began selling milk from our family's cows at our first Dari Mart store.
