Juan Macias, Owner of Mi Casita Mexican Restaurants, has enjoyed a very colorful history. Much of his story revolves around family, and one could debate whether it is family which sustains him, or the other way `round. He is a supportive and caring father and sibling. You can never forget the value of teamwork when you have seven brothers and four children. This family operates as a seamless unit, to all outward appearances. They are GOOD at what they do. The son of a butcher, Juan Macias grew up in San Jose, Mexico, until his teenage years. He immigrated to the USA to work at an uncle's restaurant in Atlanta, GA. His next stepping stone was a chain restaurant in Columbia, SC. Then he got the idea that Fayetteville should be a great market, since military folks tend to be more internationally-aware than their civilian counterparts. So he moved here and opened his first restaurant in 1990.
