Mid-America Wireless has been in the communication business since 1984 and is one of the first original agents for Southwestern Bell Mobile. Mid- America began providing sales, installation and service to the St. Louis Market. In 1990, Mid- America Mobile Systems opened the first wireless store in Jefferson City. Later that same year, Gary Wilbers went to work for Mid-America as a sales consultant. In November of 1991, Gary was contacted to see if he would be interested in purchasing the Jefferson City dealership.
