Ken White had a vision for a restaurant to serve the needs of small town USA. Together Ken and Richard Garland, a business partner, achieved that vision when they founded Papa's Pizza To-Go in January 1986. Papa's Pizza started as a minimal investment in a modular unit on a vacant lot in McCaysville, GA. Success was apparent when customers lined up to purchase the unique pizza. Ken's retail experience began in TX where his family ran a grocery business.
