<img src="http://www.pastahouse.com/images/joe-kim-large.jpg"> The Pasta House Co. is a St. Louis Tradition "We founded The Pasta house Co. in 1974 with our late partner, John P. Ferrara. Our mission from the very beginning has always been to be the very best Italian family restaurant; providing exceptional food at fair prices with excellent service in a friendly and clean atmosphere. From those early days until now, our team has constantly strived to maintain the highest quality standards of guest satisfaction. It is the only way. On behalf of more than 2000 Pasta House Co. family members, working in both company and franchise restaurants, we thank you for sharing your dining experience with us. And remember, we're all in this together." J. Kim Tucci, Co-Founder Joseph A. Fresta, Co-Founder Children receive special consideration at The Pasta House Co. restaurants. The children's menu features Mr. Meatball suggesting favorites for children age 12 and under such as Spaghetti & Meatballs and Toasted Ravioli, Mac & Cheese, and Chicken Fingers, in portions just right for smaller appetites. The Pasta House Co. offers an enticing menu of more than 25 pasta varieties and 15 specialty chicken, beef, and seafood entrees. Customers may choose from an assortment of appetizers, sandwiches and salads, including the nationally recognized Pasta House Co. "Special Salad." Each restaurant provides a fine selection of dinner wines, cocktails and desserts. A take-out menu and Parties To Go menu are also available. A special Mangia Bene (Eat Well) menu provides the same generous portions and quality flavor as the regular menu, but it offers low fat, low calorie and low cholesterol selections. For example, Chicken Rustico, an entire breast of grilled chicken in a tomato marsala sauce with artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, mushrooms, capers and sun dried tomatoes, is only 465 calories with less than 8 grams of fat. In an effort to provide dining patrons with new tastes in Italian cuisine, The Pasta House Co. works on an ongoing basis to improve existing dishes and to develop new menus that appeal to today's increasing number of consumers who insist on consistently high-quality, good tasting Italian fare with authentic "old country" flavor. All Pasta House Co. restaurants reflect an intimate charm with courteous, personalized service. In addition, our restaurants offer the ambiance of an Italian import grocery store with framed Italian prints. At several locations, bright exhibition kitchens provide the opportunity for diners to observe the chefs at work. The Pasta House Co. provides one of the best food service management training programs in the industry. Our 10-12 week program provides classroom style and on-the-job instruction for food preparation, equipment operation, cost control, office procedures, inventory control, new employee training, basic accounting principles, communication skills and management techniques. The Pasta House Co. strives to satisfy and exceed our guest expectations by creating an enjoyable dining experiencing in the most friendly atmosphere possible. Through the "Bend Over Backwards" (B.O.B) quality management program, employees develop a positive work attitude where teamwork is fostered to support one another in an ongoing effort to put our guests first. We must first Bend Over Backwards for our teammates and then our guests. The B.O.B. program includes all employees and provides them with opportunities to be recognized and rewarded for a job well done. It encourages teamwork, leadership and open communication by getting everyone involved in the management of the restaurants. The Pasta House Co.'s operation is designed to maximize a high sales volume. Its restaurants are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and operate on a high traffic, efficient full service basis. J.
