Quality Markets began with a store in Jamestown, New York, in 1913, and by the 1930's, had dozens of stores serving small towns across northwest Pennsylvania and southwest New York. Quality Markets joined Penn Traffic in 1979. In 1993, Quality Markets entered the Buffalo market when Penn Traffic purchased 15 Bell Markets. Did You Know That?
