In 1959, armed with savings of only $1,800, William R. Larson opened his first restaurant in Menlo Park, California. He wanted to create a place where families could go to relax, to experience a real sense of community, and to share a superb pizza. Bill called his little restaurant Round Table Pizza Parlor. By 1962, demand was extraordinary. With three locations already thriving, employees and customers saw an opportunity to expand Round Table through franchising. The hard work and dedication of these founding franchisees has driven our tremendous growth. After more than 51 years, we have expanded the Round Table family to more than 150 franchise groups operating some 500 restaurants....
