Dr. Mazen Noureddin, MD, MHSc, is a renowned hepatologist and expert in NAFLD, NASH, and NASH-related cirrhosis. He was the founding director of the Fatty Liver Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, ranked #2 in GI by US News. Dr. Noureddin relocated to Texas to establish the Houston Research Institute. He completed his internal medicine residency at USC, followed by a hepatology fellowship at the NIH and a gastroenterology fellowship at UCSD, where he was an NIH T32 fellow.
