A message from the chef:In Thailand, as in many places, the kitchen is the heart of every home. I have been cooking professionally for 20 years, but my real training began many years ago in my mother's kitchen, back in my hometown of Chiangmai. Though I was resistant, she continually called me into her kitchen to help her make something new. Now I realize that she was encouraging me to be a part of something special. She taught me the value of food for good health and for its ability to bring people together. She put her love and compassion into every dish she made and we could feel it when we took a bite. For a long time, Thai food was known only in its homeland, but now, in America, we put everything we have into making and sharing the traditional dishes of our homeland with you.
