Dr. Magdy K. Awad has treated generations of women for over 30 years in the Chicago-land area. After serving as staff surgeon at Mercy Hospital, Dr. Awad was recruited by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since going into private practice, he has helped several generations of patients in Chicago. His memberships include: Fellow of American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fellow of American College of Surgery, American Medical Association, Illinois State Medical Society.
Dr. Michael M. Awad's medical career began as a research associate in a tumor biology lab at Harvard University Medical School where he published articles in cancer research. After earning his Doctoral degree from Midwestern University, Loyola University Medical Center recruited him for his residency training. There, “Dr. Mike”, trained under some of the nation’s leading experts in the comprehensive care of women, most notably his father. His specialties include robotic and laparoscopic surgery and complex obstetrical conditions. Dr. Mike holds an academic appointment at Loyola as a Clinical Instructor and continues to participate in the education of residents and medical students.
